5 reasons to let our family help you raise money

Velasquez Family Coffee was launched to support our family farms in Honduras. Today, we’re proud to see many families benefit through fundraisers for Minnesota schools and charities.

Here are 5 reasons your organization should brew up a fundraiser with us:

1. People love coffee!
Your supporters are already buying coffee. Nearly two-thirds of Minnesotans drink coffee every day, and 80% of them make it at home. Now, all those java lovers can get their daily cups while they back your organization!

2. It's easy to get started and run.
We’ll help build a program with your goals in mind and provide tools you can use to spread the word. Then we’ll handle online orders, payment collection, packing and delivery—and send proceeds from each order directly to you!

3. There's potential for sustained giving.
When supporters opt for subscriptions, your group can benefit from recurring monthly contributions.

4. It's about families helping families.
People will feel good about supporting your family cause while supporting our family business.

5. A fundraiser everyone can feel good about.
Every cup of wholesome, delicious Honduran coffee will remind people of the important work that you do.

“St. Paul Sunrise Rotary club is proud to partner with Velasquez Family Coffee as one of our primary fundraising programs. First of all, the coffee is absolutely delicious and is the highest quality! The fact that it is  carefully grown by the Velasquez family in the mountains of Honduras and distributed by family members in St. Paul makes it a “Glocal” fair trade product (global + local). We love the idea of supporting a family internationally and locally.  Friends and family that order Velasquez coffee from us rave about the coffee, look forward to their coffee delivery every month and feel great knowing their order is supporting everything we do in Rotary.” -- Cathy Quinlivan, St. Paul Sunrise Rotary Club
