Saturday, June 14, 2008 - Pupusas y futbol

Saturday afternoon, we sadly leave the farm, glad that we´ll be back in a few days. Guillermo´s sister who came with us has to go back to work Monday at the University where she teaches Economics so we bump our way back down the mountain into Comayagua and back into the heat of the valley. We arrived tired and hot and dusty to her modest cement block home. After unpacking the car, we leave for a small restaurant that serves Pupusas (corn tortilla masa with cheese or sausage cooked inside with cabbage salad on top). We enjoy our Cokes and dinner in front of the soccer game on the TV - Honduras versus Puerto Rico. It ends in a tie 2-2.
